Since I got Laserbeak labeled up I had to get Buzzsaw too in order to get both birds looking the same.
Buzzsaw and Laserbeak and evidently strict repaints so the process was going to be exactly the same on both.
Transformers collector?

Original bird mode can be quite skinny and does it for the price, sure. But it leaves a lot to be desired as the exessive hollowness and lack of body do not resemble the original birds.
Transport car mode, sure! It is not that terrible, it is not an automobile, but more of a cargo transportation thing. It has one peg for a single titan master to lock on one foot. I welcome the mode even though I've heard most people trash at it.
Communication device/datapad mode. is good. I understand that they had to do something more moden, and the stickers didn't look too bad really. The Decepticon insignia looked quite alright but the overall design is to busy that it does not feel like a "screen" and just like lots of grafitty painted.
Removing the stickers was very easy, they came almost in single piece and a little nail to scratch the last pieces off.
All labeled up. The touches here and there are a hit as always. In bird mode the colored wings go a long way changing the perception of empty body. The new cassette mode is a giant improvement. The tablet screen alternative is also much cleaner, it is a blue screen with 4 icons that feels much more like a screen than the original stickers, but I'm here for the cassette mode.
Yes, this is what I wanted! So much better!
"Car" mode also gets good love, the front and back lights make it a proper carrier. The side view is also vatly improved with the warning stickers.
The add ons set consists on a small sheet with extra stickers and a baggie with the additional cannons.
The stickers sheet comes with replacement for the front stickers in bird mode to change with front lights instead of the red lights (the back part of car mode). I didn't use them.
This is what you're after. It looks great with all applications.
The alternative transformation for bird mode fills up the skinny body and the cannons provide good heft. The top side of the wings is now what was the underside, so the new sheet takes care of that.
The pieces are also usable in car mode. They do drag a bit and can lift the car a bit. It won't roll smoothly anymore but looks quite alright.
Now, you have a Walkie Talkie! 2 antennas, sure, I don't care but it works!
Curiously enough, I find that on both my Laserbeak and Buzzsaw add on sets, the right cannon is very loose and the left one is tight as expected.
At first I thought it was only something with my Laserbeak copy, but now the feeling is exactly the same on both figures, each with their reprolabels set.
Both sets will mark up your figure by $18.50! Considering this is a $10-$11 figure, it is crazy to think that now you are holding a $30 piece! So that's quite a lot for a legends class toy. It is not for everybody.
The improvements are one of the best I've seen with Toyhax, but the price increase is too much, making it not worth for this value toy unless you're determined to get all Buzzsaw, Laserbeak and Soundwave (optionally Rumzy).
