Super happy that I snagged this figure at a decent price.

I have the Hasbro version, but man the red finish and shiny paint on this looks like a luxury collectible! It is very similar to the finish in Takara's WFT Optimus.

There is one problem with this toy, the transformation is really complicated and this causes the arms and feet to pop out, which isn't a huge deal as they can easily be put back in place, but the front grill part is on a metal hinge with a plastic clip that also clipped out and can easily break. Hasn't happened but it is a small piece of plastic that pops out during transformation, it is very tight so it is easier to pop out than to rotate actually.

Also, I am afraid that the paint could scratch, which would be a huge shame. So for now I'm keeping it behind glass as a super pretty item to look at but with minimal play on it.

Cons

People have commented of the exposed screws on the arms, and I can see how that can be a problem, but I don't mind it much.

The backpack is rather bulky and the legs on the kibble heavy side, but look good from the front.

The proportions are a bit weird too, looks like it had a big diaper and super short torso that make him look a bit shorter than he really is.
