If you have Megatronus, then you know exactly what to expect from this figure.

Blastwave is a repaint of RID 2015 Bludgeon, who himself is a retool of Megatronus. So, all three figures share the same articulation and basic design elements.

The headsculpt is quite noticeably Bludgeon's; they didn't even try to give Blastwave a different head (the artwork on the packaging shows a headsculpt that looks completely different than the toy). If his headsculpt had been show-accurate, this toy would be almost perfect, but the way it is, it just comes off as a lazy repaint cash-grab.

He is a new character, and he's an Autobot bounty hunter, which is pretty interesting. Also, this mold is fantastic, even if this specific example is just a lazy repaint. I think that the originality of his character makes this toy worth getting (although usually I don't recommend lazy repaints).
