Ah, Skullsmasher. Where to begin?

He's definitely one of my least favorite figures from the Titans Return line, although not necessarily bad. First, the things I like about him: his alt-mode is fantastic, and the colors are wonderful. Head-sculpt is decent, and Titan Master partner Grax is decently painted. Also, he has a decent range of articulation.

Now, for the bad. I previously mentioned the articulation, and while it IS good, the joints are far too loose to hold any decent poses. Hinges pop off easily, ball joints flop around and his pistol doesn't grip well in his hands. At least the shoulders and elbows have tight joints. The feet are so loose, they won't hold in place no matter how hard you try. His shield/cannon made from his alt-modes tail is nice, however, it's just a bit too big for him to hold it straight down. I must also mention that the plastic quality is just atrocious, especially the grey plastic; it feels like a knock-off toy.

Do I think you should get this figure? Well, if you want to have the original cast of the Headmasters cartoon, then you absolutely need him. However, if you're not a completionist, I'm not sure I would recommend him. He's not a bad figure, but he definitely has a lot of flaws.
