Parts and Reprolabels for TR Laserbeak

I didn't want to do this figure until I had both sets for this.

  • The sticker set
  • Extra parts

The figure starts off pretty bland, it is an okay legends toy but these two sets really change it to an amazing toy!

The original figure is not bad. Bird mode is a bit skinny but it plays the role very well.

Mistransformed tail
Mistransformed again, should have folded those back.

The alt modes are pretty flat.

The data pad mode is good, I like the compactness of this mode, but the stickers are badly applied like all the data pad figures, but the choice of print bothers me here.

The black with thin dark purple lines makes it blend with the black plastic giving the whole figure a very bland look.

The tank mode is also very "flat". It looks like a data slug with wheels. The lack of color makes it indistinguishale of what it tries to be.

The red color from the wings saves this angle.

Ready for the reprolabels

You need to peel the original stickers, it is really not difficult to do. After my experience with Rewind I was comfortable doing this.

*Tip: Remove the old stickers before you start applying any of the new ones. *

Note that the extra parts have place in all 3 modes. The tank mode looks like a proper thing now.

All the red accents and lights make this feel like a proper android-bot-rover-tank-attack-ground-thing.

Here is when the combination of parts shine. The extra parts set recommends an alternate transformation for bird mode. Now the body looks more compact and you get an extra set of stickers to apply on what would normally be the under side of the wings.

The new bulky mode really brings Laserbeak into life. This IS him, the other was a bird toy with the same name.

I was a bit doubtful about covering the nice red on the wings with the robotic sticker and the pueple square with a red play sticker, but boy do I trust them now with the decisions. It looks great!

The back lights look great!

Cassette mode is back, and the colors are spot on, make this look like a casette and the play button is spot on.

I am not sure if maybe something could have been added on the opposite side since there's a lot of black plastic, but I can understand if that would have been too overkill.

The new parts allow it to convert to a walkie talkie!
