Highbrow does not look too bad out of the box. The neck on mine was not as bad as I saw on reviews, but things started to get rather loose quickly after removing the titan master a few times.
The paint applications feel good when you look at it, the tad of yellow and tiny red stripes on the arms pop out nicely. I didn't expect that the reprolabels upgrade could do so much for it.
Alt mode
Chubby helicopter mode is quite nice, you don't really notice that the tail of the chopper is a pair of legs together until you look at it and note it's the widest part of the vessel body.
Once you're past that, the rest of the alt mode looks pretty good. The arms don't even bother me just chilling there, they do a good job passing as turbines, engines, air ducts.
My favorite part of the alt mode is the cockpit. The front openning red windshield is really nice, but a bit tricky to open. The Titan master fits very well inside!
Reprolabels
The set comes with an extra sheet that has the holo glow alternatives for the under arms and sheen stickers. I'm not a fan of it so I didn't use it. On it, also a pair of holo glow autobot insignias and stickers for Xort side legs that shine when on head mode and screw hole cover alternatives.
The applications is not very difficult, only a couple of stickers that go on the rim of the cockpit next to the window that was not very obvious even from the instructions and are not very visible until you get to see the glow and cybertronian writing.
It looks soooo much better! The extra red and yellow do so much for it. The extra bits of red in the ab area and additional yellow disguised on the inner side of the sheens as well as the tiny bits of yellow and red on knee and shoulder stickers. All the tiny details add up very nicely.
The blue on the wings fills the look, that's only for robot mode and give wings a presence.
I made a mistake adding the new visor. I placed it upside down and was not able to peel it off and correct it. It is really not noticeable but the nose/eyebrows are off by half a milimieter. There is a replacement but I like the vibrant blue one, so be careful when applying it.
The alt mode receives most of the love. Starting with the insignia on the window, why was this not part of the original toy, it looks so right.
From the top you can see most of the new additions, The propeller blue stripes make them visible.
The wings and tail added detail looks very natural, ressembling exactly the G1 wings.
The cockpit gets a fair bit of love, the inside speakers? for xort look great and the white/electronics detail on the sides of the tip don't look bad at all opposite of what I thought before applying them.
There's even an extra sticker for the cockpit articulation that seals off the blue around the window, it'd never occurred to me that that was needed, very G1.
