Turns out I had purchased the reprolabels set for Wreck-gar without having the figure, so today I saw it with 50% discount so I grabbed it even though I already have his mold mate.
The figure is OK by itself, I think this proportions fit Wreck-gar a bit better than Groove, and the painted detail on the knee caps was very welcome.
The reprolabels sheet
The set, as always, very nice. I was gladly surprised with the red dot sticker that covers the metal screw on one side of the front wheel. A detail I didn't notice until now.
The articulation cuts on the stickers that need to fold works perfectly for those capricious angles the shoulders of this figure have.
After seeing the final result and looking back at the original figure, it does look like a blank canvas!
The robot mode is also improved, I didn't notice until after the fact, but having the narrower windshield suits him very well. The color matching is surprisingly good!
Overall conclusion, the set is OK considering it costs only $3.
The figure is an easy pass, specially if you already have Groove. I can see this as an easy one for amy building as I see it at sale price everywhere, but other than that, I'd recommend to get Groove unless you really want a cheap Wreck-gar.
